Route 66 Marine had two of these small colonies in their facility in the late winter of 2015. Reeffarmers called them the Moldy Peaches Millepora and the name has remained the same since then. It adequately describes how the blueberry blue or moldy pigments occur on the tips of the peachy pink colored branches.
Reeffarmers is currently maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. None of the two parent colonies made it out of Route 66 Marine before the companies closure. Since there was two colonies we are assuming that a couple of frags could have been shipped, but there is no surviving parent colonies.
Our system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive strong to moderate light and water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold privately to Dennis Sandoval. Suggested list price on March 28th 2015 was $145 for a small fragment.
