The Fruit Bowl Millepora lives up to its name with pigments that range from orange to pink to yellow to green. Branch tips are colored green which changes to a yellow green along the axial corallite walls. Radial corallites are yellow green with pink pigment highlights that create an overall orange appearance. Branch stems near the tips are turquoise blue.

Another incredible coral find at Route 66 Marine. This exotic A. millepora was pulled out of a large shipment due to its very colorful pigments. Initially it was called the Orange and Pink Millepora, while Reeffarmers was working with the coral. We eventually decided to call it the Fruit Bowl Millepora due to its orange, pink, green and yellow colors.

Reeffarmers is currently maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. The original colony was lost at Route 66 Marine due to heat and system problems in early 2015. Our seed and the 1st edition are the only known surviving fragments.

Our system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive moderate to strong light and moderate to weak water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold privately to Dennis Sandoval. Suggested list price on April 25th 2015 is $135 for a small fragment.
