The Sweet and Sour Psammocora is very colorful at first glance. Is has a very bright lime green outer edge that can develop fairly wide. On closer examination the surface of the coral has pink colored corallite mouths that have an inner gold coloration. Tentacle hairs on the surface of the coral are golden colored. The pink can spread out around the corallite mouth where white dashed lines can appear.

Josh at Gonzo Coral Frags acquired this amazing psammocora during MACNA in Denver 2014. It was an imported whole colony from Reef Raft Asia and was purchased from Detroit Coral Farms. Josh recommends moderate light levels to maintain this coral in its most colorful and healthy state.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive weak to moderate light and current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold on our Buy It Now web page. Introductory list price was $65 for a small fragment.
