The RK Rio Colorado has a peach colored Darth Maul type pattern on its center disk. The pattern contains orange, green, gold and yellow pigments as well as some dark splotches. Polyp mouth is ringed with green. Polyp tentacles are exotically stripped violet and lavendar.

Reefkoi has been one of the main exotic polyp growers since the late 2000 years. Reeffarmers visited their Colorado Springs facility in the fall of 2014. During that visit Chris of Reefkoi pulled out three new and rare paly morphs from the Reefkoi Locker. This RK Rio Colorado was one of those plays.

Chris at Reefkoi imported this new paly during early 2014. It was originally exported from Vietnam. Reefkoi has grown a few of these palys in captivity during 2014. This paly prefers weak to moderate light and weak water current.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive weak to moderate light and current. The first edition polyp of this coral is being sold on our Buy It Now web page.
