The Reefers CoveRC Frogskin Tortuosa has developed a green frogskin grafting in lower lighting conditions. This Acropora is probably not an A. tortuosa, but has developed that tortuosa stag-like growth formation. The green frogskin pigments travel up branches in a manner similar to grafted pigments. The green tends to stay within the branch stem areas. It appears that more green will develop in lower light conditions, while the branches can develop a brighter purple blue in strong light conditions.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive weak to moderate light and moderate water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold privately. Recommended list price on February 20th 2015 is $150 for a small fragment.
