Another incredible Favia find by Reefers Cove . Corallite ridges are colored bright orange red with and inner golden orange ring. The corallite eye is bright golden orange and surrounded by a darker outer ring. The outer corallite ridge area is colored dark brown to black and can develop white rays.

The RC Devils Favia was found in a Los Angeles wholesalers in early 2014. Originally the pigments were not well developed, but while maintained under LED lights the pigments intensified.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive weak to moderate light and moderate to strong water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold at the 2015 Reef Currents event in Houston to James Neighbors. Suggested list price on February 20th 2015 was $120.00 for a small fragment.
