An old school multicolor Cyphastrea. The RC Bloody Mary Cyphastrea has been in captivity since at least 2003. That was when Reefers Cove acquired a seed section from Jose Casas. Corallite centers are always bright orange. Outer corallite ridges can range from orange to yellow. The main surface ranges from green to orange.

Reeffarmers is maintaining a seed section of this coral in a 8 foot Raceway Gyre BiZonal system. This system is naturally filtered with a semi-cryptic zone and a reef flat exposed zone. In this captive reef the coral is positioned to receive weak moderate light and moderate to strong water current. The first edition fragment of this coral was sold at the 2015 Reef Currents event in Houston to Matt Murphy. Recommended list price on February 20th 2015 is $75.00 for a medium fragment.
